Same Contract,
Worse Terms

Catching the redlines before signature: the comparison desk, quote faceoff, and the proposal bake off. Recorded August 2026.

The first two minutes play for everyone. The full session is available on request with a work email.
What this session covers

The five most expensive words in software renewals: nothing changed, just sign it. Somewhere in the new paper, something moved, the uplift cap, the notice window, the liability cap, and it moved in writing, in plain sight, in a document nobody re read.

Live on the sample workspace, two agreements go into the comparison desk. It reads both in full and grades every shared term to the buyer edge: better for you, worse for you, unchanged. The reds first, always, each one a talking point back to the vendor before signature.

Then the cross vendor versions: quote faceoff normalizes two competing quotes onto one yardstick, and the proposal comparison lines up a full bake off, every cell filled from the actual proposals. The rule by the end: nothing gets signed unread again, because reading stopped costing anything.
