10 · Plans, allowances & limits
Every plan gate and platform limit mentioned anywhere in this manual, collected on one page. When a chapter says a feature "requires an AI plan" or is "metered by plan", this is the page that defines what that means. Your own workspace's plan, usage, and remaining allowances are always visible under Billing.
How this manual describes plan gating
The manual uses a small, fixed vocabulary so you always know what a gate means:
- requires an AI plan — the feature needs a plan that includes AI: Growth, Professional, or Enterprise. The Free plan has no AI features; the 30 day Trial includes a small starter allowance instead (see the table below).
- metered by plan — the feature works on your plan, but each run counts against a periodic allowance (for example AI analyses per month). The Billing page shows the meter.
- your own data requires a Professional or Enterprise plan — the tool is free to explore with sample data on any plan, but uploading your own exports or documents and running the AI over them needs Professional or Enterprise.
- org owners only — not a plan gate at all: the feature is on every plan but only organization owners can use it.
Allowance windows are rolling, not calendar months: "per month" means the last 30 days, "per week" the last 7. An allowance frees up on its own as older runs age out of the window.
The plans
Five plans, priced annually. Owners can compare them under Billing; upgrades are set up by our team and billed by invoice.
| Free | Trial (30 days) | Growth | Professional | Enterprise | |

| Users included | 2 | 5 | 2 | 5 | Unlimited |

Plans unlock apps. An app your plan does not carry shows an in-place panel naming the plan it joins on, with a link to Billing; it never opens partially. Workspaces created before July 29, 2026 keep every app they could already reach, and trial workspaces see every app, with the trial's own allowances as the only limit.
Plans without included analyst benchmarks (or with the allowance used up) can still send proposals for expert review with benchmark credits: an organization owner requests one directly on the proposal page ($5,000 per analyst benchmark, billed by invoice), our team confirms and adds it, and the Billing page shows the balance. See Proposals.
Two trial limits worth knowing before they surprise you: trial workspaces read research online but do not download it, and instant benchmark runs are capped at 2 in total. Partner-program firms also read research online without downloads, per program terms, whatever their plan.
AI allowances by plan
Each run of an AI feature counts against the matching allowance. All counts are per rolling window as described above.
| Allowance | Trial | Growth | Professional | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AI analyses (reports) | 10 in total | No monthly cap | No monthly cap | 20 / month |
| AI agent requests (playbook agents) | 1 in total | — | 20 / month | 100 / month |
| Proposal redline scans | 1 in total | 2 / month | 5 / month | 10 / month |
| Side-by-side compare scans | 1 in total | 2 / month | 5 / month | 10 / month |
| Cloud cost analyses (own uploads) | — | — | 5 / month | 10 / month |
When an allowance runs out, the feature says so in place and the Billing meter shows when the window frees up. Owners can upgrade at any time; the higher allowance applies immediately.
Fair-use daily caps also protect the conversational surfaces (asking Vera) and the instant tools (Contract decode, Snap a quote). You will rarely meet them, and you will never meet one unwarned: once less than half of a day's cap remains, a quiet meter appears near the input ("7 of 10 questions left today") with the upgrade path attached. Trial workspaces, where asking Vera is metered at ten questions a day, always see the meter. Caps reset at midnight UTC.
Platform limits
The fixed limits that apply regardless of plan. Each links to the section where the limit matters.
| Limit | Value | Where it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Proposal and contract files | PDF and DOCX only, 40 MB each | Upload a proposal |
| Verdict Bar documents | up to 30 MB | Verdict Bar |
| Photos and screenshots | up to 3.5 MB | Snap a quote, Verdict Bar images |
| Tracked vendor agreements | up to 40 | Agreements |
| Files per vendor agreement | up to 5 | Agreements |
| Research file downloads | 10 per day, 30 per week per person | Research |
| Review table columns | up to 12 questions | Review tables |
| Deal approval chain | up to 10 approvers | Deal approvals |
| Benchmark share links | valid 30 days | The benchmark library |
| API keys | expire within one year | API |
| Spend optimization vendor set | top 10, 25, 50, or 100 by spend | Spend optimization |
File uploads are validated on type, size, and file signature, not just the extension, and every upload screen states its own limits in place.
